This course will discuss the many aspects of plats. How are plats properly created? Replating and amended plats will also be discussed. We'll cover dedications, easements and restrictions that are often found in plats. Time will be spent on vacation of alleys and roadways and the effect of vacation on the properties within the plats. The tricky issues surrounding the dedication of parks, ponds and lakes will be covered in detail.
